Project Description
FORTA-FERRO® macro synthetic fiber was utilized as a reinforcement method for the flooring of a tomato hot house facility in the town of Katunga in Victoria, Australia. Hot house owners benefited from superior crack control, impact resistance, and a smooth finish by using FORTA-FERRO® in their slab designs. The construction team mentioned “good crack control and durability” after an initial test pour and “ease and speed of construction” after the full project pour. The fiber distributed evenly into the concrete mix and the 40,000 sq. m. facility was placed and finished easily.
