FORTA-FERRO® was used in this industrial slab-on-ground to dramatically reduce the volume of joints, which are troublesome in the abrasive conditions caused by the steel-machining process. FORTA-FERRO® was used to easily and seamlessly replace the #4 rebar on 12” centers in a 7” slab. In result, the fibers made it possible to use only a construction joint and eliminate all intermediate control joints. Even at higher dosage, the user-friendly FORTA-FERRO® mixed evenly, and provided a smooth finishing surface.
