Project Description
This 54,000 sq. ft. three-story elevated deck hospital was originally designed with 25 lbs. of steel for temperature and shrinkage. The contractor was not happy using steel, deciding FORTA-FERRO® macro synthetic fibers would be an easy product to pump, place and finish. After placing the concrete on metal deck the contractor was happy with the performance advantages of FORTA-FERRO®.
