Project Description
FORTA-FERRO® was approved to reinforce all the slab-on-ground and slab-on-metal deck applications – as an alternative to the specified welded wire fabric (WWF) – for the new multi-level Johnston High School. FORTA-FERRO® provided 3-dimensional reinforcement that benefited the school’s geothermal heating and cooling system by protecting several thousand linear feet of plastic piping. FORTA-FERRO® was selected due to its excellent mixing, finishing, and ability to eliminate worker safety concerns that often come with the use of WWF.
