Project Description
FORTA-FERRO® was specified to replace wire mesh in a slab-on-ground application for a multinational automobile manufacturing company headquartered in Germany. FORTA-FERRO® helped to cost effectively reduce cracking and increase durability for a slab used to store heavy automobile parts before shipping internationally. In addition, FORTA-FERRO® also created a safer work environment and reduced construction time due to the fiber replacing cumbersome wire mesh. The specifying engineer and general contractor were impressed by the benefits FORTA-FERRO® provided and verbalized that they plan to use the fiber in their future projects.
