This high-performance bridge deck in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, along highway 694 and 252 was placed in May of 2017. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) wanted to reduce cracking and prevent water intrusion through the concrete, which contributes to freeze-thaw deterioration.
