Floor and Parking Slabs

Project Description:

Over 5,000 cubic yards of FORTA®-reinforced concrete were supplied for various portions of this early 1992 project. FORTA® ECONO-NET® was utilized in various segments of this mall project, including several store floor slabs and the parking garage slabs. The Mall of Americas is the largest shopping mall in the United States, and includes four major anchor stores, 400 specialty stores, 1000 hotel rooms, and a centrally-located 7 acre amusement park. The 3/4" long FORTA® ECONO-NET® fiber was used at a dosage of 1.5 lbs. per cubic yard (.9 kg./cubic meter).
